[Help Find] No fog, 100km draw distance, Enter terran sectors

Post by Mannschaft »

If anyone has the time im looking for the following mods

No Fog - Site download link is dead, google search turns up no external links

100km draw distance - Site download link is dead, google search turns up no external links

Enter Terran sectors - Thought I saw a mod on this site at one point that made it so the terrans wont try to kill you if you enter their space, the forums search function is absolutely useless or broken and doesnt actually find anything so I cant refind the mod here and a google search for external links turned up nothing.

100km draw distance
Nebel entfernen by Marodeur. The topic itself is in German, but as the Mod doesn't use any text files, you can use it with any language version of the game.
The mod offers several cat/dat pairs. All remove the fog, but they have different draw distances. The cat/dat pairs are named accordingly: "Originalsichtweiten" will just remove the fog, all other are named with the value they set the draw distance in every sector to (e.g. 15km.cat/dat) or to the minimum draw distance, while all other sectors with a higher distance will keep their values (15km_minimum.cat/dat).

You actually don't need a mod to enter the Terran sectors. The access permissions for the Terran sectors are linked to the ATF rank. In a plot game you simply have to play the Terran Plot and step by step you will get access to the sectors. In a Custom start the ATF rank should be linked to the Terran rank, so making missions for the Terrans should increase both ranks and give you access to their sectors.
If you don't want to play (generic or plot) missions, the easiest way would be to increase ATF rank with a script (for example Cycrow's Cheatpackage).

well, XRM has 2/3 of your requests, (if you dont mind a new universe)

Terran ony try to kill you when you dont have rep for them, either do quests in.. whats it called, sector outside of astroid belt, or use cycrows cheat script to give yourself the required rep
