as long as you took each folder in order and renamed the cat and date andcopied the folders in each folder before moving to the next file you should be good. i wish they would combine what they have right now to make install easier you know.

Seems like I did it right. I need a universe map with the new sectors of the mod.

Hi all.
I have a problem.

I'm trying to buy a 200MJ shield for my ship Falcon Vanguard, but it's not accepted.

My shield is always "0 ".

I have cargo space on the ship to put that shield.
Can you fix this?

Check info of ship to see what size is accepted. I've done the same thing once lol

Hi I having problems installing this mod. the instructions are not clear. I have read every page here, but I'm at a lost and there is no read me file included with the download, can anyone help me please?

{Install X3 3.1 patch}, copy the 14.cat-17.cat (and the update 18.cat) in the X3: Terran Conflict root folder.
Copy the contents of the scripts folder into the "X3 Terran Conflict/scripts/" and do the same with the contents of the "t" folder and the "loadscr" folder.
After this, copy the whole "director" folder into the X3: Terran Conflict root folder.

And do not forget:

Change your name to Thereshallbewings.
Seems fairly straightforward and simple. :?

Yes, but when I download it there are a lot more files then this. There is also a 20 and 19cat. dat file and aldrin cat. dat. file what do I do with these I have no clue?

The cats and dats go in root directory.
extract and copy them over by date of oldest to new, thats how I did it.

20 removes cockpits

Thanks guys I got it working.


EDIT: Hi again I want to ask something. The sector Queens Harbour has some ships that have no model? I'm guessing something went wrong. Can someone confirm this for me please.

sometimes ships and stations lose their bodies, when the computer has too big a load to carry. try reducing the shared quality or the graphics. even the best computer can't do in full resolution. the problem is with the game... it can't use dual cores, thus using only one core, reducing the potential power of the computer.

are you referring to the boron orca ?

Yes that ship and the boron manta. I though I may have installed the mod incorrectly, but so far these are the only ships it happens with. If its happening because the mod is just so load heavy thats a relief. It only happening in two sectors and those two ships, just kind of freaked me out when I bought a ship off someone and it was invisible.

That's actually a new bug, i thought you are referring to the overload phenomenon that some textures are missing sometimes.
I never heard of such a bug before. We'll look for that, thanks for the info.

EDIT: In which sectors does this happen? You mentioned Queens Harbor, which one is the other one?

yep....the boron manta is missing as well with mine. manta hauler shows up fine. i was in the sector the wall and scripted it in.

So we got this bug with Boron Orca and Boron Manta in the sectors The Wall and Queens Harbor, or is it somewhere else too?
