game manuals?

Post by Zaldar »

So just bought the superbox which I am enjoying but as these games are quite complicated would love to have access to the actual manuals for the games. That doesn't seem to be a possibility on steam which I don't understand, I mean a pdf file would be fine and was all I was expecting but to have nothing at all? That's a bit much. Is there anywhere I can get these? I looked for them in the download section and wasn't able to find them. If I missed them there than please do just tell me where to find them. Thanks!

that helps but what about the earlier games? I want to start with beyond the frontier to get all of the story correctly. I may just try to figure it out without a manual but I expect that will be next to impossible sigh..

I've just answered it in this thread regarding the location of the Game Manuals. The XBtF manual is in German though.

However If you've bought the Superbox. Encyclopedia Page B - 24-25 provides a neat summary of the major historical events of XBtF.

I just received my copy of the superbox.

Is the encyclopedia available as a PDF as well as the one in the box. I would like to keep my box version manual in mint condition, and print off another one for use. But I could not see the encyclopedia on the bonus disk, so I guess it is only hard copy at this stage.
