Also, I didn't see mention of a bonus pack. Is that later? Do we have to wait for the superbox?
Patches and Bonus Packs are totally different animals. Patches come directly from Egosoft. Bonus pack content comes from modders and scripters, and is tested by both Egosoft and volunteers prior to signing and release. If you want info on that, go sign up for Level 3 access and check out the script testing forum.
Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.
X4 is a journey, not a destination. Have fun on your travels.
It'll be interesting to see if the Flak bug really gets fixed this time.
I picked up the ATF shipyard mod so i could build those, can't connect them to a complex but its better than nothing, but i'd really like to have the original shipyard back now since its where i used to buy my baldrics and fly them to earth for a jumpdrive.

Hope you can find a way to fix that.
It may not be fixable. If the fault is with windows 64-bit implementation (iirc the problem only affects 64-bit OS users) or device driver implementation or something then there will be nothing Egosoft can do about it.

The game saves faster? The game doesn't start running super slowly after a couple of game days? I hope it fixes the latter!
Your Frames Per Second will be higher. The slowdown got progressively worse the longer you played the game, so people with relatively short game ages will probably see no difference. On the other end of the scale, the savegame which I was testing went from 5 FPS to 40 FPS!

It also affects 32-bit OS, of course, after you enable the +3Gb flag.

Wait, my game lags slightly in Home of Light (Like a gajillion civillian vessals all over the place) and that's with 6GB RAM. I'm guessing my game would like drop to 5fps if I was forced to use only 2GB of RAM.
