this is a short how-to, explaining how I capped heavy Kha'ak ships using scripts provided by the community that are not "cheat scripts" (or not categorized as ... )
You'll need :
- NPC Bailing Add-on, set up with a high bailing rate for capital ships
- Rotate and move objects
- a claim script, for example SCS Mk1
- a strong fleet in an appropriate sector (I use the Unknow Sector north of Argon M148)
- Kha'ak bail only works when you're OOS (Out Of Sector), if you're in the sector, the game hangs with looping sounds
- When you jump directly in a sector you moved an object in, the games crashes
So, let's go :
- first you jump in one of the Kha'ak sectors
- you choose your target (try first with a carrier)
- target it, lower its shields to 5%
- use the "Reposition Object" hotkey to move your target in your selected sector, 10-15 km away from your fleet (that's the "cheatiest" part
). ( To validate repositionning, use fire button or key )
- save in-flight
- jump out of Kha'ak sector (as a safety measure) in any sector except your selected sector
- wait for your fleet to attack the Kha'ak ship until it bails (or is destructed, you'll need to reload your inflight save), keeping an eye through sector navigation
- enter the sector (preferably using gates), that's why you may have wanted to jump to a neighbor sector.
- cap the ship (eventually using the salvage script)
Personnaly I repositionned the ships in my HQ's sector, docked it to my HQ, picked up the shields and the Gamma Kyons, and sent it to disassembling queue ...
I also capped a Guardian that now perfectly sit in the same sector (President's...) to guard the east jumpgate
I tweaked TShips, so the GKE now fits to my Heavy Centaur

P.S. Ask for details if it's unclear, as English is not my native language
