Does this patch contain any changes to gameplay?

The news on the front page do not mention any, except perhaps this one:
"Some general game issues are resolved."

Update. Most of the download locations and file types have been taken offline for now and will be enabled again later, since the installers need to be fixed. The current working patch is the updated 2.0.02->2.5 version at the following location:

Any patch troubles with regards to savegame comptibility should now be resolved.

If you installed any of the previous 2.5 versions you can simply download the small 2.0.02 -> 2.5 update and apply that to your game folder one more time - presto, everything is up-to-date

but I now cant access any of my saved games

I cant do anything I was playing quickstart the version
I was playing was the last edition sold cant remember the name cant find the disk right now
which is a shame because I now have downloaded the 2.5 version.
Game crashes when I try load a saved game, any saved game !
And cant restart a new game cos when it opens the screan is just flashing black and white
I can get to the start menu but no further
My computer is running vista its two months old

Are you certain that you downloaded the updated version of the 2.5 patch (ie started downloading not more than 3 hours ago)

There was an issue with savegame compatibility but it has since been resolved.
I suggest you download the 2.0.02 -> 2.5 update, install that over your current installation and try again.

Well abyss did say "it isn’t what you’ll be expecting" and he was right

cant wait for the new missions the modding community will bring, just wish it wouldnt *moddify* my game by using them.
