I was testing the >2GB exe for TC. After a few hours of running the game, I had a freeze of several seconds. After that I had massive performance slowdown and gfx artifacting all over the screen - then, the screen turned black and my PC went off. I couldn't turn it on again, so I'm now on my laptop.
The PC also smelled a bit burnt. When I opened it, there was a cucumber where my CPU should have been. I once read a warning about this - can this possibly be caused by a >2GB exe running on a 32bit-system?

Please, can you help me? Will Egosoft pay for the loss of my CPU? It was a 3GHz Dualcore, so it will be hard to replace. Also, I had all my data and personal files on that computer, so I can't do any testing or anything right now. I hope my harddrive still works. Will Egosoft pay for all that?
thx,
SymTec
