Is there a way to download ships and replace them with a ship of your choice? like a saw a Arrow from wing commander i want it to replace the argon buster M4 can i do this?

Here is a tutorial that explains how to copy a ship from a mod to another one.
The only difference is that you don't want to create a new ship in the list but you want to replace your new ship with an existing one, and that your target mod will be one of the 0x.cat which is in X2's directory.
