Chapter 14: Storm

“It’s a big bastard,” Corrin muttered softly, but not softly enough for the words not to reach Kaitrin, at the Tactical station, silhouetted against the view screen. “Big, and still on a collision course Captain,” she volunteered, forestalling his query. “Six klicks and closing.” Without waiting for the order she reduced the magnification setting of the main viewer, reframing the Teladi Destroyer with stars.
