Flight Of the Hastings MP3
Thanks to nuke for being kind enough to host my little pet project.
It's simplistic. Think of it as a movie without the video.
After listening, see if you can spot the exact moments in which I "DIDN'T" voice act. I can tell you that NEARLY all voices (save for the singing female) are done by myself.... With a mic that's got a sock on it.

Anyone who's interested in more, just let me know.

It's there. Open the link in a new window, then, where it says 'here'... right click and 'save target as'.

I'll probably get some more work on it done once I have some time off...
In the mean time, here's a direct link to the written version. You'll note where, for the 'Radio Play', I added or removed lines, mainly to fit certain lengths of song without sounding like dead air, or to fit within a time segment.

I would LOVE to get someone with time to burn, to make a vid out of it. Then I can watch a massive space battle unfold while munching on popcorn or something.
I mean, just imagine the ferocity of a moving camera spinning around and arcing through a battle as it follows a fighter, cuts to a ship, cuts back and weaves around a furball, then pans fast over to an exploding vessel.
Trouble is, I'd have to post some GXP screenshots of the Mikagami and the Seventh Armada, as well as shots of a few characters... The rest could be rendered from imagination.

Maybe I should get off my patoot and answer some of this...X-Periment wrote:Nice, but is this about the X-Universe? I wanna see it and the battles!
And what about the intro's lyrics that was in the MP3? I wanna make an X-BTF Intro Song!
-No, it's not about the X Universe. But the content was close enough that I thought it would do well here.
-The intro lyrics are from the japanese version Title song of Tenchi Muyo GXP. "Mayonaka no Taiyou" Now, you can grab the English version (Midnight Sun), but it changes the lyrics, and I think the original is much better anyway.
Late yes, but I have little else to do at 3 AM asside from procrastinate on getting the PC back in shape for working on Terradine.

"There must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero, From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination" - Douglas Adams

A furball is a nickname given to a large dogfight.
The fighters are zooming all over the place in essentially, a large ball shaped pattern, looking like tangled up, messy, coughed straight up from a cat, furballs.
Thus, the name.
Anywho, here's an update...
