new role play ! until i can be bothered to do my next story

until i can be bothered to do the next chapter of my story i want to do an role play . i want to do kind of a engagment between a sigma corps battle group and a expermental pirate m2 . intresting to say the least ......... any one else intrested ?

bah it looks like its just us .... meh. u can be any one in the sigma fleet from a lowly jag or disco pilot to the commander of a raptor or colossus or even a pilot in the pirate battle group against me ! (if you do that i may have to kill you !)or maybe a 3rd party

Hehe. Does it matter who I choose to be? Besides I live with skill more then heavy firepower. It'll either be an M4 or an M5.

well im gonna just start it in the sigma headquaters briefing before the assualt. if your a sigma pilot u can be there. ill wait to see if anyone else joins

I was in the dark depths of space. Earlier on I'd recieved a comm from sigma, but didn't grasp the importance of that one message until I'd read it a few mizuras ago. I was requested to dock at the station. There I would realise my fate.

((sorry i aint been here for a while lol i got a bit lazy))

a voice rattled through the comms with a morbid enthusiasm
"good , another pilot , we could do with all the fighters we can get . just go to the registration office just past the airlock"

all around in the immense docking network of the sigma corps fleet there was ships mobilising , squadrons swooping inbetween larger ships to their destinations an TLs and TS bringing in more weaponry and equipment. no one knew what was happening. at the end of the docking piers there was a convoy of TPs with new military personel for the upcoming operation. at the head on the convoy was a spilit corvette. for some reason ships didnt bother to weave past it but rather avoid it all together.

I docked my TS. Simple enough procedure and proceeded to give them the next batch of HEPTs and PACs.

I recieved a comm from one of the people at Sigma. "Your presence is desired in the briefings room."

Getting out of my trader I wondered whether this was a mix-up or whether I was really meant to go out in combat in a TS?

Sitting just out of comms range of the station, I watched a steady stream of M4's and M3's meander towards Sigma.

Flipping the NAVs computer on, i targeted the station. My Perseus started the slow sweep towards the docking hatch.

Approaching, i couldn't believe my eyes. Were they really allowing TS class craft to dock as well. Surely all trade routes were on hold until further notice.

inside was chaos. men and women of all races were lining up fro dozens of meters to joni the fighting. apparantly they had a new bounty mission from the argon. in to be exact , clean out a pirate sector. to be even more exact to destroy something in the pirate sector of great importance. the only real information released was they were deploying 2 battle groups of 2 m2s and a m1 all equiped with maxed out escourts and fighter wings. one battle group was all argon battle ships and one all split. this was going to be messy. one registry office seemed open. on the walls of the station there was recruitment videos on moitors talking of high pay , sight seeing , fighting with the most advance and capable fighting forces in the x universe

I left the briefing room, shocked as anything. Surely I wasn't expected to fight in a TS? Surely. Some mistake had been done. I wasn't expected to fight surely.

"Oi, you, come here. You're to be part of the initial strike, the first claw. Your ship will be a Disco. Fully kitted out, runs like a dream."

I stared at it, then at him, then back at it. "You been drinking space-fuel? How in HELL am I meant to fight in that. Unless the only things you think I'll be capable of is downing M5s?"

"M5s and M4. Those are your targets. Might I add, this ship is MUCH faster then anything a pirate can throw at it."

Grudgingly I got in. "You know the score pilot. Scratch 'em out of the sky."

in the docking bay there were dozens of m5s to 3s all sitting with pilots rushing to them , ready for combat. as you load into one a numberr of nav information came up such as rally point , squadron designation and carrier designation. this paticualr disco was part of the 2nd squadron , the trailbreaker squadron to be precise , it was 6 of 8 and was designated for the carrier 'prime' which was a large argon collosus moving out of its ocking bay now.

Chairman Byson sat at the bridge of his Titan enjoying the most uncomfortable ride of his life. He was a chairman, not a captian and this wasn't his cup of tea (or spacefuel ). The captian seemed to share this view as he was pacing impatiently around the bridge.

'Captian I do wish you would stop doing that your making me sick' the chairman stated warranting him an evil look from the captian which he ignored 'and how much longer is this going to take?'

'I have no idea sir' the captian replied obviously very irritated 'probbaly another couple of Tazura's'

The chairman was on a diplomatic mission from Teladi Gain to see the Argon Chairman about a planned expansion for Byson Corp. Unfortunately the jumpdrive installed on the Titan had failed and they had to take the trip by crossing the sectors.

'warning' the computer stated 'we are now entering a pirate sector'.

This was a part of the trip that the Chairman was not looking forward to ,they had a number of priate sectors to cross though this one seemed suprisingly empty. That was until they neared a SPP and then it happened. The graivdar started showing up hostile ships, there were nearly forty pirate M3's most heading towards the south gate but unfortunatly the Titan had warranted some unwelcomed attention and 5 of them had started towards them before being joined by a gaggle of assorted M4's and M5's.

'Oh dear' The captian stated 'this could be bad'

the sigma corps assualt fleet was finally mobiliesed , the capital ships (( 2 titans , 1 collosus , 2 pythons , 1 raptor along with supporting corvettes and a corvette squadren leading the assualt)) a massive portal opened up as the fleet similtaneously powered up the warpdrives. finally after waht seemed like an eternity they jumped , 1 battle group 'deception' jumped to the south of the target zone and the other group 'auto' jumped to the north. the m 2s and 1 on both sides centered aroundd the gate and sent in the first wave of fighters , desgined to gain a foot hold for the cap ships to go in. leading the first wave from battle group deception (which was made up of a variety of argon and split m3s to 5s) was the ship of Ace drogen , commander of sigma corps. his admirals and captians always pleaded him to stay put of a m1 but he refused , his place was on the front . behind him his squadron did one last weapons check. there was 2 argon centaurs 'bumblebee' and 'inferno' along with 'thrust' .Ace flicked a button on his dragon to power up weapon systems and engines. behind him his crew operated systems and gun emplacments.then finally a monotmus voice breathed through the comms.
"he have the green light"
as he said this Ace was already in the gate way and almost in the pirate sector. with a jump he came into it. the place was bathed in a red glow and full of many asteroids which would make large scale battle tactics diffuclt . this is why they sent in fighters first to gain a foothold as he jumped in he saw a belgeared titan come under attack
"god dammit , we got possible civillians here , maybe even argon military ! squadron with me . ironhide squad , redalert squad , drige squad and thundercracker sqaud with me , fend off the pirates from that titan."
those squads his just mentioned were the finest 4 squadrons apart from his own , in the fleet. each one can easily take on a m6 in his or her m3 and deal heavy damage. all of those squadrons were 4 ships of either split or argon m3s. the pirate battle group was coming into te targeting systems of the ships now. its would be only a matter of time before there was only space debris

"We have an armed wing of M5 and M4 pirate ships on an approaching vector. Ironhide squadron get ready to attack targets of opportunity. Keep loose, we don't want a bogey grabbing our tail."

The M5 squadron roared on to meet their fates. I was already resigned to the fact that they may not all be coming back. "Target the M4s first, strafe them off, just worry about outrunning and outflying the M5s.

"Go to attack speed. Arm all weapons, check all shieldings at 100% and that all engines are operating at full capacity."

"Roger that leader."

We flew straight through, hitting 3 M4s down and 5 M5s. "Eight bogies scratched."

"Losses?"

"None so far, just enemies winking out and dying."

"Just do your best, fly to survive, 'Ironhides."

[OOC- Sorry I've been a while, i've got a novel on the go and coursework to do. Coursework for tomorrow I might add, so hopefully I won't have to do anymore of it. Then it'll be back to novel-writing and love hina for me.]

as the pirate vessels took hits they began to align for a x formation and began towards them with a huge amount of maximiesd firepower which could easily inflict heavy damage . as they came in for the strafing run the gate began to give off a glow as something began to jump through. several varied fighter wings , no less than a dozen , jumped through followed by a python . soon the python was upon the beleagured fighting force and its ppcs forced thep irates to break formation and realign to attack it. a voice rang over the comms in a slightly montomous fashion.

"this is commander Kycos of the python Blitzwing , all fighters watch my six and weak spot along with the middle section for enemy strikes , it could get hairy."

the python began to manouver towards the new enemy force and advacne at a lsow speed so it would be easy for the fighters to fight around it.
