New tracks for x2, X3 and fanvideo

Post by Brash »

Since I have started playing the games of the X series, I have liked the background music. My first track in this forum was "Starlife". There were so many positive reactions and I decided to produce more tracks like this. Then I produced "Along way home". New tracks will follow as soon as possible. I hope some of you will like this sound. It's completely produced by myself at home, so I hope it will be ok anyway. Here you can download my music.

You should always look at the end of this topic, because new tracks will follow

You can find it also on my forum

My site is only a fansite. Everything is free for downloading. :P

Greetings from Germany... Brash

You just replaced my Argon Prime theme...

Excelent music. Was this from scratch? Or a remix?

It is not a remix. I just named it X2 Mix. The user of this forum should know, it was produced just for all the fans of the x universe :) !
It is an original. Completely produced at home. I Just used software instruments and samples (drum, fx and so on).

I hope it's the answer you wanted, because my english could be better

But it is nice, some people like this track..thx :D

I use as sequenzer CubaseSX from Steinberg, all the plugin stuff (virtual instruments, effects) and samples.

Freeware? Or did you run up to the store for it? (I have my own music stuff, but I need better software.)

Sorry it is no freeware. You have to pay hundrets of euro for it, because it's a professional sequenzer. I produce other kind of music (trance/dance) with a friend in a real studio. We have to buy it, because we want to sell the music. It is very expensive..of couse....but we have no choice!...

The free stuff is often not god enough...there are light programm versions of Cubase on their site. There are not so many possibilities for editing, but good enough and not so expensive!

Thx, some other users here asked me too. I think if I will have enough time I will produce some more tracks like Starlife! You will see it here or on my page www.2x-pensive.de under "Downloads". I try to translate my site as soon as possible. :)

I should make an edit with the sound 'Entering System, ARGON PRIME' right after that first taiko drum thump. Before the pocketwatch drums kick in.

Nice idea, but this could cause trouble with Egosoft. I am still working. A new track is coming soon. I couldn't believe it. My track caused 450 MB traffic in 3 days. Because of this I transfered the file on a free webspace. Now it is just as mp3 avaliable. But it is nice, such a good feedback.

Yes I did. Of course....it sounds like midi. Do you have a programm to send the midi data to software instruments?
