This is a fairly cheap (<£35) piece of writer's software - to help plot stories, creat characters etc. There is a downloadable demo that budding writer's might like to check out.
It works with cards and timelines so it is particularly good for keeping multiple plots organised. I'm only just checking the demo out but I'm impressed enough to have already ordered it.

I've been playing with this for awhile and have to say it's an amazing little piece of kit. Journals, the ability to store documents and pictures connected to scenes, writing tips and timed exercises. Lots of good stuff.
One tip though - don't make the mistake of buying the CD version. It is not the current build and to update it you have to download the whole thing again through the program so it can use the hidden registration key, then uninstall the old version and then reinstall the new one. As i bought the CD version to avoid a 14 MB download over dial-up I was not best pleased, especially as this is nowhere explained on their site. I assumed I'd get a Reg key that would unlock a download version so I could download over my fast connection and transfer to my laptop.
I kicked up a fuss and they sent me a user name and key.
Anyway - the download version is only £25. All you miss is a version of Open office provided on the CD and a free crap novel. Despite the inadequacies of the web service and installation instructions this is a great writer's tool.
I previously used New Novelist - which has other strengths - most notably the provision of multiple story outlines - but this has taken its place.

It sounds like a good tool. If I like it...I might pick it up.
The demo is a bit ong for a dial up
but if I want to try it out...gunna have to endure it...besides...I can play X² while I download it
The download manager will send a tone when its done...I hope

At least the demo can be unlocked for the full version so it's a one off pain.(/\)archild wrote:I think I'm going to give this proggie a play as I don't really outline very welll
