Great to see this already. Not good times for Max but nobody said life was a bed of roses

Couple of points:

1. "Xela did not like what see saw" "see" should be "she"?

I'm sure there was another but I cant find it now. I'll re-read it later.

Max, a man on the edge....

There's so much for Max to get over I can see him going solo in his thirst for revenge (once he's over the initial shock and puts the bottle down

)... but then again I guess it wouldn't take much to get the remainder of the Raiders really stirred up when they can track Law down...

Good stuff, looking forward to seeing how they're going to try and get Law...

Great story, but one minor quibble: you've used the word "enervate" twice (once in this chapter, once in the previous) when you mean "energize" or "invigorate". I believe "enervate" means the opposite. Enervate means to drain of will, energy, or motive; to weaken.

I like the story, though ... can't wait for the next installment!

Excellent start of the end

That is even kind of painful to read in sympathy with Max. Having lost so many people that are important to him in one go has everybody hit the ground.

"tossed the empty aside" did you deliberately drop the bottle?

Great read Steve, so much happening, seems just about everyone, except Max at the moment, want some sort of payback for whats happened. can hardly wait to see how it all turns out.

Yes, not sure what you mean? "The empty" is an English phrase meaning an empty bottle.

1. "The last movements of the Challenger ship narrowed the possibilities but another was necessary. " Another what was necessary? Something missing here.

Great turn of events although probably not for Tyre's shoes

It's a shame you have to keep younger readers in mind when writting because when Max finaly does get Law I would love to see him suffer horribly for all he has done. Great read, keep it coming Steve. cheers.

Well I wasn't 100% sure what was in the 'cargo' Law had picked up but at least it turned out to be at least 50% correct.

I'm not hazarding a guess at what comes next though.
