Not from me, but from this guy, the author of the 10% solution. It's a simple set of techniques for editing your work to remove common errors and produce tighter text. At its heart is a lits of search terms for yor Word program that will identify words or fragments of words that are associated with common problems like passive voice, along with how to deal with them.
It's a short but really valuable read. I'll be using its techniques from now on.
