X2 images

I need help with X2 images.

I use Magic Wand tool in photoshop to select a part of an X2 image to edit but i am not getting the correct result.

Is there a better way to do this?

Some clarification on what it is you're trying to do and what isn't working would be helpful--you've not given us much to go on!

Well I am trying to copy or cut a part of the image, so I can remove the background.

The part I want to copy is an Argon Nova, but I want the shape of the nova only without any other background colour or shape.

Is photoshop the best program for this, and how is it done.

If I understand you correctly you want to cout out the ship from the back ground?

If so you will have to use either the free hand cutting tool or the point to point tool...they are the same choice buton just change the options under the too options button.
