Xai Corporation needs you

Could do with a spot of help in three main areas
  1. Feedback, on existing projects. Ideas, problems, etc...
  2. encouragement, to continue doing this, or tell me to sod off if you want ;)
  3. and lastly I could use some help from a couple of people to sort through and update all the script projects.

Probably the least useful, but

2) Yours are the best scripts out there. Well conceived, well implemented, well received. Great job to everyone who's worked on one of them!

I second that...most people I have talked with that are using the Xai Combat AI are useing at least 1 or more of moogy's Xai scripts. Problem is ....there isn't much problem with them.. they all work so great people don't have much to complain about and we all know people will complain more than they do praise...Here's to Xai and all her top notch scripts!

I agree, although it took me a while to get it to work. But improving the AI is so fundamental to the game that I can't live without it.

1. Very good job on the different scripts, or so I hear. I only currently use the Advanced AI, so kudos to Kailric. And Kailric, I find the AI might use missiles a bit too much...maybe you could have them conserve them for key times? They get my shields down a lot with guns, and I know they get better judgment as they level, but still...

2. YOU AND KAILRIC ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!! If this were hockey, you guys would get the Stanley Cup for achievement.

3. Sorry, I don't know any programming languages or have any coding/programming experience whatsoever. Best of luck for finding people, though.

Thanks there Consti, and on the note of the missiles...yes they are being reworked! Prolly will be after 1.4 though so look forward to it. I am hopeing that 1.4 does a lot of the work for me, so I can consentrate on other projects and Ideas.

The scripts I use consist mainly of yours, Marks Formation/Patrol and the MWM which includes several peoples' work. IMVHO, without those scripts and the handiest is Station Accountant, X2 would be hard to play for the wrong reasons. The only Xai Corp script I do not use is the Advance AI but I will. The only reason I do not is because my budding empire needs me to nurture it till I get some M6s to defend the two main sectors (KE, HN) I am building in. After that, dog fight city because that is my favorite part of the game anyway.

So, yes I highly encourage all scripters to continue their guest for the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. Just remember the count is THREE!!!, Not Two, not Four, but THREE!!! Five shall not the count be!!! It is THREE!!!

How about this:

I will never, EVER uninstall Xai Corp Jumpdrive commands or Xai Corp Fleet Support Software. These pieces rock.

But you know what would be nice? A version of Xai Corp Jumpdrive Commands that doesn't have the "Jump to Sector" command in it since it's obsolete after 1.3.

I've put up a list of things that need doing at Xai Corp.

Advanced knowledge of scripting isn't required for a lot of it.

If someone's feeling creative, I've just thought of something else. I've got some text I need translating from Argon into Boron, Teladi, Paranid, and Split.
