I've just been messing about with POV-Ray and came up with some rather nice looking results:
(56k warning: 602Kb)
[ external image ]
AVI (requires DIVX) : http://homepage.ntlworld.com/stewart.br ... n%2029.avi
Theres a lot of improvement I could do, and I'm yet to think of a focus (Might be nice to paste a Boron Barracuda skimming the water) but I'd like a few opinions, comments or suggestions.
Oh, and anyone else used POV-Ray before?

Made a pretty crude one, I didnt really know how they appllied in POV but I figured it out, it is a bit low res tho.lenny5000 wrote:Maybe you could add a texture or height-map to the islands
Also did an AVI with a little spinning thing as a place holder for... something.

And yes it is going psycho.. I overdid the spin calculations.. well, lets say radians arent friendly when your thinking in degrees.

And no I'm not rendering another 45mins just to slow it down.
p.s. anyone know any programs that'll stick images into video.. without pasting their names over it?
