I have unpacked the game (not running in raw mode tho). Have TBullets, Trockets, Tships, Tcockpits, Tlasers unpacked into TXT form.
Yesterday I tried to pack them back into the pck form. I gzipped them (everything seemed to be fine), then did x2tool -crypt for every one of the gz files, everything seemed to be fine again - the pck files appeared and they were correctly named. I then tried to run the game and got a CTD after the first loading screen (even before I got to the menus).
What gives?
Also, when I try to run the game with TXT files replacing the PCK files, every time I try to go into the simulator or start a new game I get a lime-green screen with the gravidar and the message "DISCONNECTED". What's happening here?
Any assistance will be appreciated.
CTD when I pack my files

Sometimes if you put invalid numbers (eg. decimals) for the parameters in the types files you'll get a CTD when you try to load. (or other strange behavior)
It's more than likely not your packing procedure if it happens running from raw .txt files as well, it's gotta be the edits you've made.
