first of all, if you're worried about using mods, don't use them

secondly, how can you say "there's no seperate files", then go on to talk about those files? :?

thirdly, yes all the scripts are XML (a kind of HTML) files, so dreamweaver can and will be able to display them to you - you're not meant to be using them outside the game though, so why're you trying to open them?

these files you're opening in dreamweaver are the files that go into the Scripts folder - that's "folder", not "file"; I'm pretty sure that's what it says in Mark's readme as well

Hi

I've just checked the download and everythings fine.

Just download it, unzip it, copy all the files in the scripts folder into your x2 scripts folder, and the file in the 't' folder into your x2 't' folder.

Any ship with 'fight command software mk 2' installed will have the new commands.

scripts won't stop the story by the way.
only custom maps will.
if a mod doesn't include a file that needs to be copied to your /maps directory and specifically selected upon starting a new game your story will be fine.
