Custom Games query

If you run a storyless custom game do you still get access to the hidden Khaak sectors?

Also what other kinds of game can you make?

I have never played that far, but if you download the Massive War Mod then you have lots of missions to khaak sectors/battles etc...

The MWM is a great custom universe game, and can be played over your current save games if you have finished the current storyline

I've just finished the plot and have to say feel a little cheated. If i install the massive war mod will i have to start a new game or can i continue as is?

I wondered about this so installed the scripts and they did not run till I ran the script itself using the "Thereshallbewings" and script commands, this meant the MWM played over the top of my current save, meaning I could keep all my money and not have to start again! Just keep the saves seperate as it does come up as "MODIFIED"

Another way to get access to the Khaak sectors (getting the coordinates to them) without doing the main story is to do the "Save Menelaus daughter" mission available from the BBS boards in stations. This will get you the rank of Queens Knight of the Boron. Depending on some other things like the state of your ship (I think) you will soon get the offer to buy these Khaak coordinates through the Bulletin boards to get the access to the Khaak sectors.

Very interesting. You can do this without bothering with the storyline? Or while being in the middle of it? Can you do the same with the info on Khaak ships/equipment?

Just a darn tootin moment!

I did the druggy princess (oo-er!) about a month ago and I've never seen the Khack co-ordinates on offer.

Are you sure this works?

I'm the right rank (I think) with most races.
