Presidents End

Post by Seawolfe »

Anyone know if it would be possible to create a script to restore the stations in Presidents End?

I don't mean to just pop them back up .. but to do something like buy another station of the same type to replace the debris or buy a bunch of resources and then put the repair droids to work.

Or better yet, a script to salvage the stations or destroy them and recover the asteroids the mining stations were on to begin with.

there already a script to salvage ships but to spalvage stations is a bit harder (one is machine the station debis to the correct station type and 2 The balancing for such an effort. In my opinoin it just be eayer to blow away the debie and plonk ya own stations down Just make sure you have plenty of defence first as MR Khaak will be waiting

An excellent idea with just two small drawbacks:

1 - the debris is immune to laser blasts

2 - the debris is immune to missile blasts

admittedly, these are actually 2 sides of the same problem, but it seemed like such a big problem that I thought it bore mentioning twice ;)

you need practice to hit station-sized objects that are totally immobile?

the ever-present khaak make much better practice "dummies" ;)
