Game Version 7.6 English
Modded State: Vanilla
Gamestart: found on multiple gamestarts, but this save uses Stranded
Nature of the problem: see below
Possibly relevant: I only have avarice loaded
Steps to reproduce: attempt to force the BUC scout to bail
This issue is several years old. It's frustrating because I like their paint job, and want a pegasus with it, and don't want to wait until completeing the plot in their favor or be force to do it in their favor.

Strictly they do obey the rules but their set up can be slightly unusual. Unlike most other factions, BUC often carry as many passengers/crew/prisoners as they can in their small and medium fighters. You can see by close scanning them. You have to reduce the crew numbers by patiently and consistently sniping at them with low damage weapons and causing several separate minor crew bails over some time until the pilot is left with little company and finally gives up. I believe that it's an intentional capture difficulty because their paint job is nice and their ships tend to carry very nice in-game mods.
A dog has a master; a cat has domestic staff.

this save is after about 15minutes of pursuing the pegasus pelting the ship with a single bolt every time the shield started to regen, not a single crew member bailed, iirc they are only a 2 star pilot as well, so bail should be happening pretty easily. Other BUC ships work, but in many circumstances the scouts do no in my experience.Alan Phipps wrote: ↑Tue, 8. Jul 25, 23:36 Strictly they do obey the rules but their set up can be slightly unusual. Normally, bailing does not occur under certain circumstances - certain mission ships, while docking, or while docked. This save should not be any of those circumstances
