Livestream slowdowns even on high end rig overnight - potential lead for a fix

Version is 7.60.

Game is unmodified.

I'm running a custom start (budgeted).

I've invested is a major hardware upgrade and X4 runs like a dream. As a stress test of my system I left Livestream running while sleeping. When I woke Livestream was a slideshow. I think I know why.

I've noticed from Coordinated Attack livestreams across sectors that the game shares some information about location across sectors from the camera panning to the target while in a prior sector. I think livestream is generating large amounts of this shared data and not cleaning it up, leading to performance issues.

I suggest a higher limit on this shared data would be appropriate. :)

You will, I suspect, have Livestream testbeds of your own. But to eliminate my system and save for your inquiries I have included a save, DXDIAG and Vulkaninfo. Livestream slowdown is not save persistent but you might find something to help. You're looking for a Sector Memory value, I think.

LiveStream mode will have a performance impact, because two locations instead of one are being simulated as though the player were present. This isn't going to magically go away.

Livestream ran fine at first so two locations, a third location, a fourth location, fine. The game isn't cleaning up old locations *at all*, at least I think, and on my system it isn't a problem except for extreme long use of Livestream so the game loads a ton of sectors at once. Most people probably aren't boring enough to spot this - in truth it wouldn't have been a problem if it hadn't run overnight, but this is a genuine report.

It's entirely possible that someone in the livestream crowd will want to run Livestream for people to watch between broadcasts which is really the only 'normal' case this will show up. No, I don't stream.

In your testbed run Livestream for a long period of eight to twelve hours. Performance will tank. On a decent system people probably won't notice this but not everyone has a decent system and fixing this could have stability and performance gains in it.

Heads up - Livestream also has slowdown if left running in a single sector but performance catches up if you snap to current sector, so the duplicate data overruns, whatever they are, happen when focus is on a single sector too. I'm going to catch some sleep now, and will run Livestream on my HQ in sector to get more information on how Livestream behaves when left idle. I think Livestream will tank performance, and seeing if performance recovers if left running in the same sector could be useful information.

Unexpected. The game crashed overnight. It looks like the game is generating XYZ data from the camera position and environment but not cleaning up after it, at least that's my guess.
