Sporting Rifle for Raibu

Is there any way to get the sporting rifle with Terran Cadet? I like to have all the stuff. If it's in the game, then it belongs to me. I want it. I need it.

I can live without the Paranid Faction Capital blueprint since it looks and functions identically to the admin center. I'd rather have Hop and Par stick around so I can get my rep all the way up to 30 and keep my war effort guilds. I thought I wanted peace but actually ... not so much. I mean, it would still be nice to just have a way to get the Faction Capital blueprint anyway, since I want all the stuff but I can live without it.

But the sporting rifle. That's a different story. And the only way to get it is to do budget start. I like budget start. However, I also like playing a run where everyone is calling me Mr. Hariken. It's cool that other characters know my name and can call me by my name. It's cool that the Segaris guy changes the story to a lack of security clearance instead of blowing off the question when asked about gravamentric studies. The Terran Cadet is just so cool.

But I want the Sporting Rifle. I gotta have it. I bought the game and it is in the game so therefore it is mine and I want it.

Does anyone know how to get it without budget start?

What is a sporting rifle? Was it added in one of the recent patches?

If you don't care about keeping to vanilla then I guess you could start a new game with those things, open the save in a text editor and find how they show up in there, then edit them into your existing save?

It is used in biathlon missions and I think there's no way to acquire it otherwise.

OP, I think the only real way to get it through custom start. I do not recall it being available anywhere.

It's a story item used in a couple of Timelines scenarios. It's not available in any of the normal gamestarts.
