there's almost no information on the web-site... when they are planning to release the game? i thought it was already in Beta, was it? is the game gonna be released at all? :o

X2 and Online Universe (X online/X2 online) are 2 completely different things. X2 is a standalone single player game that is currently in full beta with a release in the near future.

Online Universe is in the very ealry stages and wont be release for a long time.

It depends on how well X2 does when it is released.
If X2 will become a huge hit , X-Online will become a reality!

So when X2 is finaly released, tell everybody about it, put up posters and run your own marketing campaign :D
Oh, and if you deliver newspaper (or the mail) slip a flyer in the newspaper/mail. :P
