Yep also covered it exactly like avarice, actually 3 of 4 was in windfall, at least in my games they tend to be in windfall rather than avarice

Its random for everyone, if you get really stuck and need a good pointer to find the one you are missing ..

There is a .bat file you can run which finds the locations of them all in your save file, see the following post ..
viewtopic.php?p=5116566#p5116566

When you run the .bat file it decompresses your save file to a temp file, finds the entries within and then shows you where they are in the Command window.
From the ones you already know it should be obvious which one is left to collect.
It does not touch the original save file so wont get your save marked as modified.
And if windows complains about it being possibly unsafe, run it anyway its fine.

Thnx :)

Well apparently last one is well as expected farthest one but not just farthest also it's situated above normal plane 85km z+ 335km x+ to be precise, this would take a long long time and adv sats for me otherwise (Cause i thought there are 2 already what's the odds for 3rd one spawn in same system ?) thnx for the help

130km from the last vault that i found, i think i might be seeing a pattern ego's random spawn algorithm, maybe not. Also it seems like the "most interesting blueprint" seems to spawn in farthest from center.

For anyone not wanting to use the script, it can be quite effective to just jump in a scout and fly around the sectors in map mode with "Datavault" as a filter.

Then as soon as you are in range the blue icon for it will be the only thing on the map besides your ship so it's a lot easier to spot.

I found 5 in Windfall ( 2 were empty- very discouraging ) and none so far in any Avarice sector. Having to search thru 6 sectors, far outside the mapped areas, is a bit much. I have to decide how much time I want to waste just for an Erlking engine and shield.

If you want to go fast, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.

Another way of doing this, completely bypass the need to find data vaults :
