Shortcut to select vessel or station currently ocupied by player?

I might be missing something here. I have about 500 hours in the game and realized the other night I waste a lot of time clicking around for my ship in the map screen. I know the "r" key moves my current view to my occupied ship in map, but it does not autoselect it which I wish it did. Also, is there a way that the players currently occupied ship (either as passenger or piloting) could always be at the top of the ship property list no matter the sub type selected (All,Fleets, non fleet, deployables, etc.)?

Frequently I find I hit the r button in map and then send the last ship or fleet I was messing around with off to a destination I want my ship to go to, only to (most of the time) relize the mistake, go back and find last selection, cancel the order go back to the submenu where MY current ship is, select it and so on.

It just seems there should be a permanet spot for currently occupied ship at the top of the property list in the map screen or a hotkey to select the current player occupied ship when in the map screen.

Also along these lines, why is there no button to straiten out the map without zooming back to my current location? Ie. in large fleet battles my view of the map get off plane and moved around, but to get back to default i hit "r" then move the map around to find my fleet again or double click my fleet in the property list. Just having a single key for a map reset where the current view is would be great.

Example: "R" (shift+r) = zoom to current locaton, correct map view to default, select current player occupied ship or station.
"r" ( r) = correct map to default viewing angle at its current location.

IF this already exists in the game I appoligize but I do not see a keybinding for either of these. I would really like to see my currently occupied vessel at the top of property owned list no matter the subcatagory, more than anything as its an easy visual to verify before issuing orders.
