First of love to terraforming we need more a lot more!
I wanted to terraform scale pact but i set a quacke in motion now i can't undo it becouse no special exist to undo it checked others but they either don't have them or have some other special so you don't mess up like i did.
Can you please fix it by giving us some option to make quake go away?
Thank you

Quakes can be prevented if you have Terran research options - look for Tectonic Scaffolding. You need to complete the Segaran Pioneers plot to unlock it.
Otherwise you will have to complete your Terraforming mission while the quakes interfere. It is completely possible if the NPC economy can support making the resources faster than the quakes set you back, it's just more expensive, or you could build your own economy around the resources needed.
Sometimes quakes are unavoidable as you progress in the Terraforming objectives. At least two - Ocean of Fantasy and Atiya's Misfortune - start with them. Don't panic. They just make things more difficult, not unsolvable.

I design beautiful, powerful stations that transform your gameplay and look stunning. Now presenting Tachyon Developments - The Terran Collection - now with Community of Planets ship and station technologies!

The option to make it go away is tectonic scaffolding. I think it is over 1.6 million microlattice. Von neumann replicators help. On active planets, you'd ideally also want to prepare ALL the material before starting the project, and dump it immediately as quickly as possible, ideally using multiple S/M fabs. Because if quake hits while you're delivering, you'll lose progress and material. 4x fabs is enough to nab Atiya's Misfortune prior to next quake.Endlle wrote: ↑Thu, 27. Some planets decrease tectonic activity when temperature drops. That's a hidden effect which is not visible in advance. In many cases you don't need to fix the quake.

I took that aproach with Ocean of Fantasy, prior to launch I made a local storage facility which could house three times the amount of resources needed, got about ten ships on repeat orders to fill it, and then changed their role to repeatedly deliver to the PHQ just before starting the project.vvvvvvvv wrote: ↑Sat, 29. So even if you miss the window of opportunity before the next quake starts, the Quake randomly doesnt completely reset so if your lucky the second phase completes the whole order.
Its a bit tedious because timing exactly when the first quake ends is a bit awkward, so I just went with the overkill aproach

Totally worth it to give the squiddies a new swimming pool though

On Atiya it can wipe out a quarter of your progress. That's a lot of microlattice wasted.
Also ocean of fantasy is one of the planets where quakes become less frequent once the planet cools. Cooling and water prrojects are both immune to quakes.
