Removed from AI update thread

A savegame is like providing a picture instead of 1000 words; devs can use a lot of their tools to quickly bring them to the issue at hand if provided savegame.
Let's be honest—these issues have been brought up countless times, with at least five posts in the beta forum containing saves and detailed explanations.
The issues with capital main weapons, station hugging, and pathfinding are nothing new—they've been present since version 1.0.
Providing more saves won't be as effective as applying more pressure.

Sorry, but that's complete nonsense. Where people have provided saves and detailed information we have made improvements, and we continue to do so. Just "applying more pressure" without providing specific scenarios achieves absolutely nothing.

If you don't want to contribute to that then feel free not to, but telling other people not to bother doing so is self-defeating in the extreme.

Example: viewtopic.php?p=5185031#p5185031

What improvements have been made since then? It’s been nearly two years.

There is a developer response in that thread indicating what was improved. There are similar responses in numerous other threads.

I have stated the facts above and I am not going to waste any more time discussing this with you. Suffice it to say that if you continue to encourage people to shout louder instead of providing feedback in a useful form that can actually be acted upon, then you have only yourself to blame if progress is slower than you'd like it to be.

Of course, there have been some improvements, but I still have to submit another report and get yet another number : viewtopic.php?p=5245370#p5245370
Like you said, arguing with you guys is pointless—just like repeatedly submitting bug reports that lead nowhere.

I've removed this entire discussion from the original thread so that people who actually have something constructive to contribute can continue to do so.

This is the way.
Exactly. The devs need to stop acting like these problems are new and posting the same "upload a save file" messages—it’s not helpful at all. If a workaround exists, provide it. If there isn’t one, just don’t respond. Repeating that disclaimer for a well-known bug isn’t constructive; it only makes players feel like the devs don’t play their own game.
