[7.5][Modded] Gamepad input after using my mouse resets throttle to 0

Was fiddling with some mods and reenabled SirNuke's mod API, kuertee's UI extensions and HUD and Better Piracy, and now I have this weird bug. I fly with a gamepad but also use my mouse a lot because... obviously. So I'll throttle up with my gamepad, go to click something and then when I touch any button on my gamepad again, my throttle resets to 0. I've removed the mods, I've turned UI protection on and off, I've checked my settings and reset all my controls, it's just completely borked now.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I've read a few other people had this problem but I couldn't ever find any solutions.

Does anything here sound the same? It may be worth linking your inputmap.xml so that any matching setting situations can be checked out.

Yes and no. I'm getting the same effect of "gamepad input resets thrust" but I have steam input enabled to get some extra functionality out of my gamepad.

Edit: I opened my extensions list last night and just... forgot to take a screenshot, so here's my mod list. The only one not shown is Apologize for Attack (enabled) at the very top, because I couldn't fit it on the scroll menu.

Update: I've reinstalled the game and fiddled with just about every toggle I could think of. I removed the keybind for engine stop, I've tried gamepad mode on and off, I have no idea what went wrong qq
