A way to bring back xenon.

You select a ship with cargo, and send it as sacrifice to feed a construction yard, even if it is hostile. The ship is lost and disassembled. I guess crew could escape? Or maybe you'd need to do it personally.

Robots have no need to refuse free resources even if they come from organics. Could be expanded to other factions as well.

All they would really have to do is let stations pick up wares again. It was possible back then.

I still think it would make sense to have a way to restore them through the crisis though. Then they could actually come back in force rather than the player having to literally babysit them until they're self sufficient, which is what we'd get feeding resources into a dead faction.

Some ideas around improving cost / efficiency for production / construction, at least for Xenons :
1) the more you increase your fight rank
2) end game crisis : also generate at begining a Xenon solar power plant with some SE ships, and let you chose to improve or reduce their efficiency at the end (ie: "Last Epoch" boss fight to increase "corruption" level)
