[7.5] Black screen and 0 response to any input

Hi everyone!

Version and language: 7.5, Russian

Game is not modified

It happens in any of game starts, currently it is Fires of Defeat

The screen turns black without any visible reason, I still hear the game (but it's just a repeat of the current sounds like the engine sample or the music that was playing in-game) but any of inputs I do to PC aren't working (the only thing that works is the reboot button on the case itself). This thing can occur in every sector, but it happens more often in Sanctuary of Darkness.
I tried to change the settings multiple times, including setting everything on the lowest possible settings, turning off and on VSync, changing between windowed/borderless mode, installed newest drivers and reinstall them, reinstall the game, nothing helped.

No changes has been made to any of the software/hardware/game itself.

No additional system messages nor screenshots can be provided since the PC becomes completely blocked and black screened.

Are you sure this is the PC making the screen go black, not the monitor going into standby mode? I've seen at least one report of the latter. It's not something the game has any control over, but some driver, system or monitor setting might be responsible.

As I wrote I'm pretty much sure since the PC does not respond to any input, whatever shortcut I try to use. And it happens only when I play X4 and it happens relatively often, no other game is affected by this.
Just to be sure I went to Sanctuary of Darkness and had this issue yet again, any shortcut I used (for instance the simple Alt+F4 doesn't work despite in usual circumstances it closes the game instantly) didn't work and despite I was in a battle, after the crash I didn't hear any of weapon sounds, only engine and combat music. Had to turn off manually my PC using the case button. Manual reboot doesn't help because the screen is still completely black.

If your PC is completely unresponsive then there is something seriously wrong at the hardware or driver level. The game cannot, itself, do that because Windows doesn't allow normal applications that level of control. Whether it happens in other games or not isn't really relevant. Every application stresses a PC in different ways, and can expose underlying problems that other applications don't.
