After leaving the space station and returning from the defense drone launched by the space station, the player will die upon landing and briefly go black (without displaying Game Over)
If a defensive drone is released from the space station and jumps into the corresponding S slot, the player can land above the defensive drone and be taken away from the space station as if stepping on another spacecraft.
At the moment when the defense drone returns and stays on the apron, the player will instantly die and go black.
It is speculated that if the spacecraft is parked inside the space station, a similar situation may occur, but no experiments have been conducted yet.

Re: [Bug] Standing on a defensive drone causes player death
Test: If jumping in while retrieving a ship, it doesn't seem to cause the game to end, only getting stuck underground.
Is it speculated that the spacecraft will not be destroyed when it stops inside, while the drone will be "destroyed" and returned to inventory?
In addition, the moment of death caused by the drone is the "moment of start of recovery" (or "moment of landing"), and players cannot request the ship to stop inside the space station while on board, so this test did not actually reproduce this situation.

The simplest way is to use a custom opening function or find a post production save, find a ship that can use combat drones but does not have a catapult function - theoretically, M-class frigates can do it, I just reproduced it using an engineering ship - and give it up to 10 combat drones (if too many, the landing will be slow), then set the ship's combat drone mode to "escort" when the player is in front of the apron, and then jump in and stand above the drone when the drone starts to rise and the barrier is lifted. Turn off the escort mode or pause the use of the drone to call it back to the apron.Tranxalive wrote: ↑Sat, 15. Mar 25, 18:18 Can you upload a save for us to test this quicker with, please?
