Bugs I've noticed in the full 7.5 release

Post by SgtAstro »

These aren't specific to a saved game.

I have the Hyperion Mini-DLC and have found these while starting a new game from the new gamestart that gives you the Hyperion immediately.

1. If you dock a small ship on the Hyperion you can use 'transfer wares' to move Laser Turret MK2 from the Hyperion to the small ship. I found I was able to transfer a Laser Turret MK2 from the Hyperion to my fighter.

2. Boarding ships - when the target health of a ship to commence the boarding operation is 100% (Very Strong) and the hull of the target ship is not damaged, the boarding pods will launch but the operation gets stuck at "Protect"Target Ship" because the game is waiting for the hull to be "less than 100%" when it should be "less than or equal to". So literally the game code is launching pods when hull_HP =< 100% but the boarding operation phase 3 won't kick off unless you damage the ship to 99% or lower. I also tried this with Hull Strength set to 80% (Strong). Same issue, the operation Phase 3 won't start until the Hull is 79% or lower.

3. Not sure if this is a bug, but the engines, turrets and shields on capital ships are giving an unauthorized kill reputation penalty when destroyed. I don't seem to remember that being a thing. I thought that was just for ship destruction. So boarding one capital ships is giving me a 2 to 5 point permanent reputation hit depending on the number of turrets and engines.

4. Also noticed that if I leave a boarding while it is in progress the target ship explodes 100% of the time. Is this intentional? Do I really have to just sit there and watch?

Please don't lump unrelated issues into a single thread, and please provide the information requested at the top of the forum with each report. We can't keep track of the issues reported if they're all jumbled in together, and we can't investigate them anyway without the requested information. Whether or not something you are reporting is "specific" to a particular savegame, a savegame enables us to see what you're referring to rather than trying to guess.
