Was faffing around with this ship after it attacked me and noticed its turrets were often missing wildly through no particular effort of mine. Note in particular the times when I stop steering the ship, and there are shots sailing past me uselessly. In fact many of the hits it does land in this video are ones I steered INTO lol.
Is it time to start upping the projectile speed? I mean, a Sapporo isn't the biggest or slowest target, but it's a destroyer. Is firing at capitals not what these turrets are for? Surely at least M plasma turrets ought to have the velocity to hit it more often than this? Especially when it stops turning??
So, projectile speed?

If that wasn't silly enough, here's my unmodified Sapporo flying in circles AFK for seven minutes while a destroyer tries to kill it: https://youtu.be/TXaRgoztfwE?si=ys2hUMNTbwUv8PC7
The Sapporo M turrets actually still manage to hit fighters, but very infrequently. Meanwhile the Phoenix is pretty much useless here. Again this is AFK, I literally dragged my cursor to the side of the screen, and walked off.
