Version 7.50, english
vanilla budgeted game started in 7.50
save: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/xagv3z3z ... pn43h&dl=0
I got the Ticker notification of a temp. rep. loss for illegal cargo and immediately paused the game.
Found lots of red PAR ships in Litany of Fury IX including two PAR Police Theseus Vanguards mentioned in the Ticker.
Now my only two ships in this sector are Takobas collecting Drops. The one in the east has Spaceweed and Spacefly Eggs on board, but both of them, like all my collectors in policed space have Mirage Mods installed with 100% Cargo Concealment. I have never encountered this Problem before 7.50 or in the beta.
Sadly I have no save for reproduction before the incident, the save provided is immediately after I saw the Ticker notification.
Mirage cargo shielding failing - Explained as it doesn't shield inventory items.

Re: Mirage cargo shielding failing
Thanks for the report and the save.
Haven't checked the save yet since it's after hours here, but do you think it's likely that they may have collected drops from hacked station storage? The mirage mod won't prevent them getting caught doing that since their storage doesn't have to be scanned. You needn't have done the hacking for reputation to be penalized for that action.

Re: Mirage cargo shielding failing
I will take a look once I get home. But the only non Inventory Cargo they had was said Spaceweed.
I don't know if potential hacks could have ejected those, since i haven't uncovered any blackmarkets in Litany of Fury and they certanly aren't produced there...

Re: Mirage cargo shielding failing
Doesn't have to be something illegal. Picking anything up that was dropped from a station through that station's storage being hacked is illegal. Thought it might be a possibility since you have them collecting drops around paranid stations.
Have had your save running for a while in the background. Both ships have been scanned for inventory items, the one with spacefly eggs dropped that, and they were let go. I'll continue to keep an eye on it today at least to see if anything untoward happens.

Re: Mirage cargo shielding failing
Ok, since the spacefly Eggs were dropped on scan, does that mean Mirage is only protecting the ships cargo but not the inventory items?
That would mean installing my collectors with Mirage didn't make sence in the first place, since I wanted to keep those illegal Xenon drops from being taken by the police...

Correct. Mirage shields the ship's cargo storage, but your pilot's pockets can still be scanned.

Ok so now I need Xenon Pilots so I can modify them with Mirage
Jokes aside the Police scans in the ships logs don't corespond with the timing of the Ticker message, the closest was the empty Takoba witch was scaned 3 minutes prior.
Maybe the police realy just observed the picking-up of illegal cargo.

OK since the original issue is now explained (the inventory scan being the cause), this can be marked explained.
Adding a different issue in a Tech Sp thread is never a good idea as different devs may need to see it and will ignore thread titles irrelevant to them. Please start a different thread with a relevant title and supporting evidence.
