[Feature Request] - Piloted Ware Transfers

I was testing something out with the Hyperion, when I realized, I may never have had this option before, that or we have it, but I am not figuring out how to do this.

I am piloting the Hyperion (also goes for Guppy), I have a S class hauler, say Terrapin that is bringing in materials I ordered it to get for supplies. In my case, E-Cells, Claytronics and Hull Parts. He is docked and set to transfer wares with me, but simply holds until I let the AI captain take over. This is a bit cumbersome, so could we, either through some menu to direct transfer or through orders, allow ships to transfer wares that we are piloting if they also have the ability to repair and fix ships?

Can already be done. Open the map, click on the ship you're piloting, then right click on a docked ship to transfer cargo (or crew). Looks like this.

Nope please try again and look closer. At least, for me, it holds until I stand up and give control to AI pilot. Basically on hold until I am not in control. It will NOT do the transfer while I'm controlling the guppy or hyperion

On further testing turns out there's another requirement. Apparently player ship needs to be docked somewhere, then the ware transfer goes through as a critical order. If not docked it goes into the queue as you describe. Guess every time I've done this I must have been docked at a shipyard or equipment dock when topping up my Pegasus' stocks from new supplies I just bought for my Hyperion.

Nice catch! Well hopefully Egosoft can find where the issue lies and possibly correct. It would be great to be able to use S transport ships to restock while still piloting the ship.

I guess this looks like this is less a feature request now and more a bug?
