NO MODS THIS IS THE LAST COMBAT SCENARIO basically a tutorial here is a link to the steam discussion so I don't have to repeat myself which I tend to do a lot.

Re: CLIPPING ISSUE WITH VIDEO
How recreateable is this clip? If it can be reliably recreated on the current release version of X4 then the developers may be able to look into the cause and hopefully come up with a fix.

...and if it is reproducible then we will need a link to a savegame so that we can actually investigate.

Yeah go fly near objects like ships, stations and asteroids then bump into them.Imperial Good wrote: ↑Mon, 24. Feb 25, 09:10 How recreateable is this clip? Dev's have made it a lot better since launch. Can't see how they would fix it entirely though other than making collision blow you up on contact like x3 .

Think of this bug as a safety net and a second chance at life for bad pilots.

Re: CLIPPING ISSUE WITH VIDEO
Chances are if we try to do this, it will not happen. If it were that easy to recreate, the issue would have already been fixed. Physics depends on so many different variables such as how fast the CPU is on the system and how complex the save being run is.
We literally need a fool-proof way to recreate the issue. Like "load up X save and then fly straight forward". If it does not recreate then, it must be related to a specific hardware configuration rather than a mistake in the reproduction instructions, which is at least an avenue to explore.
In the topic creators case, maybe it is an edge case of flying near perpendicular into some surface elements? It is possible there are 2 overlapping collision volumes/meshes in this case.
