Can resupply ships share resupply inventory and docks when told to manually resupply?

Just needs a right click menu to anchor resupply into multiple resupply ships. It'll need to filter out incompatible docks, merge resupply inventories across support vessels, and use all docks. Right now you have to target resupply vessels one at a time which seems counterintuitive - the player shouldn't have to split orders to resupply across several fleet ships.

It occurs to me that multiple underruns are possible - that all the supply ships could have enough resources to refit but spread too thin across ships. Giving the equipment dock interface the ability to handle multiple equipment docks (something like Refitting At Auxiliary1, Auxiliary2) would target the ships to separate docks to bypass this issue. Filtering to make best use of compound resource thresholds and demands would be nice, and the math to do so likely has proven solutions already.

While I'm not fully certain what this means, another idea I had is resupply also uses the ship being resupplied's inventory. Like the Hyperion for example has a large cargo bay, it can itself carry a lot of the resources needed to resupply itself.
Afaik I need to first manually transfer the resource over and only then resupply.

Yeah, resupply can be tiresome. I like that we need to have supply lines for repair / rearm, adds depth going on a campaign. It adds a strategic layer that needs to be managed beyond just ship replacement… But the process for the player can do with refinement.

I generally take a logistics fleet (mostly cormorants) with me that has the materials the aux ships (and carriers) need to carry on operations without having to move capital assets away. But the trade off with this is, that I need to manually orchestrate resupply with the freighters one-by-one… Some automation here would be lovely…
