Mining ship (gas) problem: "This ship cannot transport this ware"

Hi there,

I have a little problem with one of my mining ships. This is the first gas mining ship I bought (Sunder - Gas - Vanguarda).

I got to mine with it a couple of times, but now it does not works anymore. Even set to automatic mining on the sector, etc. I am not piloting it, I have one pilot assined.

And if I try to order it to a staation and start the trade, I see a red warning saying This ship cannot transport this ware" . The ship is full of hydrogen for example, but nothing seems to work.

What am I doing wrong?

Issue could be the station itself?

does it have Liquid Storage?
Is that Storage full?
Can the ship dock?

So, I really dont know.

I tried to dock there in order to update trade offers, but without success.

The ship s storage is full of hydrogen.

Edited: hum, you mean the station storage. I will try to verify. But I found strange because the warning mentions my ship.

Can you upload a save, then someone can examine it and attempt to mirror exactly what you're trying to do.

In map press 1 (or from right top corner enable trade filter) and to search box type hydrogen (and press enter or select item from suggested ware list).
Zoom map out if you cannot see any buy offers in that sector.
When you find someone willing to buy hudrogen then select your gas miner and right click the buy offer to open trade menu.
Move wanted amount of hydrogen to the station and confirm.
Repeat this until your ship is empty.

Is that I thought it would be done aumatically, once I activated automatic mining and selling.

Selling should work automatically in case area where miner operates have stations which buy the wares.
As you are aware there's 3 different levels in automine: Sector (0 gates), Advanced (4 or 5 gates) and Expert (10+ gates).
With Advanced and Expert Automine you can define separately how many gates ship can travel to gather resources and how many gates distance it can sell resources.
Local automainer stays in the sector where it's assigned.

I have few local autominers which for some reason does not automatically sell their loads even in the sector there's buy offers. So from time to time I need empty those manually. And in same sectors other type local autominers work fine.

From the quoted error message, it sounds like the ship is trying to 'buy', not 'sell' the hydrogen. When a ship is full and can't hold any more, that message can appear if it tries to buy. What kind of station is the ship trying to sell the hydrogen to?

Depending skill level of your ship pilot you can choose those via ship behaviour / assignments view.
If you have basic pilot (0-2 stars) you have only "local automine" option available and at that case ship can mine only 1 ware.
When pilot is 3 stars then you can choose Advanced Automine and can choose more wares to mine (e.g. in gas case you can have Helium, Hydrogen and Methane be mined by same ship) and then you have option to select distance by gates using sliders.
4 stars pilot can operate as Expert Automine and wider sector range.

Perhaps the station is full of hydrogen (or maybe antimatter and can't produce any more). Try flying close to and scanning the various storage containers on that station. That will show you how much storage is available, if any. Sometimes the error messages don't correspond directly to a situation, in this case the station gives out the message " This ship cannot transport this ware" instead of "this station is full of _____".
