I am new to X4 and currently also play Elite, SC and NMS. I play these games using the VKB Gladiator and STECS modules. I am currently working my way through the X4 tutorials and encountered a issue I have not been able to resolve.
All axis are configured correctly, acceleration/deceleration works fine. However once the ship decelerates and stops the ship starts to rotate. This occurs 15 to 20 sec after the ship stops. Rotation stops after the one of the axis is activated via the Joystick.
I would appreciate if someone would be able to assist resolving this issue.
Thank you kindly Raff

Re: Ship Rotation
Hi. It might be worth toggling in-game control options such as flight assist or automatic roll/reorientation just in case that is what you are seeing in operation.
Usually (not always) any persistent unwanted rotation or drift is due to insufficient calibration or dead zones for sticks or controllers, or more rarely a stuck or intermittent controller/stick button that is sending unwanted control signals to the game. Fault finding is usually through a process of elimination by sequentially and one-at-a-time unplugging suspect devices or disabling suspect buttons or throttles, etc.
Less frequently it can be a 3rd party profiler or game overlay (usually from device and driver suppliers or game distributors) that might mess with intended settings for play. We tend to discourage their use with X games.
Very rarely it can be due to apps used to manage the virtual interfacing of controllers, sticks and game controls (eg VJoy etc).
I hope something here might help. Good luck.
