[Feature Request] Allow changing modded ship equipment
So... now that all the engines are different, and all my important big and medium ships have engine modifications, maybe this would be a good time to allow us to change modded ship equipment and just reapply the mod to the new equipment?

You have tinkered the carburator of your diesel engine to perfection. How much extra power do you expect to gain when that carburator is attached to electric motor?
You can remove mod from engine and regain some of the ingredients. Then you can use those (and some) to tune the new engine. That is the "reapply" that was in the game already before 7.5.

Re: [Feature Request] Allow changing modded ship equipment
Of course I can do that.
But, without mods, I can order the pilot to change equipment and return to wherever they were before.
With mods, all the ships have to dock, I personally have to be at the workbench to remove it and re-apply it after changing the equipment whenever all the ships reach the station. And no way to update same ships all at once. And if you re-roll(ed) the random stats, then the cost will be more than just remove/re-apply.
This feature could be restricted to play-owned stations, cost materials, require research, whatever...

I'd be on board with this as a player owned wharf/shipyard ability. At that point you're likely doing everything remote, and having to personally go and dock, walk over to the workbench, and modify...it's tedious. I get the shipyard/wharf has no access to personal inventory, but adding a player office in a wharf/shipyard module to do inventory storage could resolve this.
