[#3443] 7.50 Ugly cloud in Third Redemption.

I'm marking it as a bug because it really stands out.

There's a dust cloud at south west of Third Redemption. It looks like this from distance.




A blob of flat color without any details. I don't remember a single nebula/cloud with such appearance elsewhere.

I have the save, and it's archived, however the site you've chosen to upload the save on is fairly concerning.

My browser wouldn't let me download it by clicking on the link, instead I had to "save link as..." in order to get it.
And when I did, it blocked it and said that the site was using an insecure connection.

Normally saves uploaded have a pop up complaining about them, but even on some of the other suspicious sites I've had to get saves from, I've never had that pop up. So I'm suspicious about the site to say the least.

I did check, the save works, as I expected, however, just be aware that it's highly recommended to upload your saves using a trusted and reputable site. (that preferably doesn't have a bunch of popups, and/or an insecure connection.)

Keep that in mind in the future. If the site concerns me too much, I won't download the save, or anything else from it. (But I will ask you to upload them somewhere safer. )

If you have a suggestion in mind, let me know. X4 saves are quite large, so a free dropbox account quickly goes over the limit.

This site is the only one I know that allows unregistered uploads and does not display porn ads.

I admit I don't actively keep track of good ones to use, however most saves I download are from Google Drive, or OneDrive, and Dropbox, but you already said you don't want to use that.

I think there's a way to directly attach the save to your post. I don't know if it's limited based on size though, or if you can on this forum.

Forum software usually allows attachments, yes, but I was under impression this functionality is disabled on egosoft forums. Probably because of size concerns.

Anyway, I'll keep your suggestion in mind and try to find something else next time I upload anything. Never had an issue with that site before, though I admit the it looks very old school...
