Friendly fire,what to do players devs

My friend has argon attacking his
Trade ships in a argon sector, i don't see message like in x3 to send to faction to message apologies..what to do players/ devs in x4. Note:Not gonna get mod either.help please.

In the log there's often a reason, explanation of what happened. Likely culprit is "illegal goods". Although there used to be a bug with rampaging police.

When there's a hostile ship, but relationship with faction is not hostile, you can run from it and hide in another sector and it'll eventually turn neutral. I'm not sure what the time period is, feels like it is in ballpark of 10 minutes.

Some people claimed in the past that it is possible to apologize, but I've never been able to do so.

Hmmm thks vvvvv, 10 minutes hmmm.I'll let my friend who plays this game,wish there was a feature to give Ai, apology/payment to give to Ai faction.
