I would wish that ventures wouldn't be excluded for modded games.
Many mods are essential for being able to truly enjoy the game or simply interesting.

I would propose that the venture feature should be designed in a way that the benefits are regardless of whether a game is modded or not.
There are many other possibilities to give credits independent of the mod status of a game.
