So I've been trying to thin out my mod list because I get tired of having to restart a playthrough after updates because I find a mod is abandoned and breaks my save. In particular I've been using Ship Variation Expansion after someone updated it a while back to be compatible with 7.x. I'm wondering if these types mods will require major updates after the new flight model is introduced.
Thanks.
Will the upcoming 7.5 release break ship mods?

Re: Will the upcoming 7.5 release break ship mods?
Thrust values of engines have changed, so while the ships won't be "broken" - they would benefit from a re-balancing pass, as their performance might not be as intended by the authors when they originally made the ships.
There are also new jerk, decelerationcurve and strafecurve values - but if a ship is missing them then Egosoft defined a rather solid default values that will be used instead, so not a huge issue.
