[Suggestion/QoL] Focus mission target area on map via double click/menu button/input control

Post by azaghal »

As player is picking up missions, many of them will have objectives with very specific target areas or points of interest.

In order to locate the target area/point on the map (for example, when planning the next move, or sending out NPC-controlled ships to carry out the task), player has to follow the guidelines from current location to destination point by hand.

This can become tedious when accepting multiple missions in parallel, as well as disorienting as the player moves around the map - particularly when using teleportation (since player's origin point can change wildly). Player could also end-up following the guideline on the map in the wrong direction as well.

It would be a nice addition to the game interface if the player was able to jump to current mission target directly through the following means:
  • By double-clicking the mission in the "Mission Manager" menu.
  • By clicking on a dedicated button when the mission is selected in the "Mission Manager" menu.
  • By pressing a dedicated input control. Input control should first take into the account the currently _selected_ mission in the "Mission Manager" menu, and fallback to currently _active_ mission.
