game keeps crashing every5-10 mins - modified game, player investigating

been playing on a new PC i got and the game runs amazing till it crashes, not sure where the issue is as i use and got the same mods i had before... i also cannot get the vulkaninfo on a txt file as it keeps saying the specifies path can't be found, i also have no idea where to upload my crash dump and dxdiag

i think i got it all down, i also play with SWI(star wars interworlds) version 7.10 hotfix 3 on steam, it seems if i just stare into space it works but if i do stuff on the map it crashes

Please note that playing a modified game means we may not be able to help, as the problem could be caused by the mod(s) you're using.

The crashdump is a bit inconclusive, but it does suggest that it could be mod-related as it comes from a part of the game that is frequently modified and doesn't have any known issues when used with unmodified files.

The only thing that stands out in your DXDiag is that you have quite a few sound devices, with drivers of wildly varying ages. I suggest you disable any devices you're not using and install updated drivers for your on-board Realtek sound device (use the Realtek website for this, not Windows Update). It probably won't help, but it's worth a try.

Other than that I'm afraid you're going to have to reproduce the problem with an unmodified game (not just a save where mods have been disabled) in order for us to spend any more time investigating. Failing that you'd have to take the matter up with the author(s) of the mod(s) you are using.

Gotcha thank you for your time and will try a non modified save etc. see if I can narrow down what the issue may be, I shall also update more of my drivers manually and see if the issue keeps going. If you wish to close this, I would appreciate it, again thank you for your help

sorry to revive this, but even on medium graphics it still happens, but so i get this right, disable all mods and start a vanilla save? just curious if i have to remove the mods or just starting a new save without them on is fine, i really want this to work as my old PC had no crashed but ran like poop lol

Ideally you'd move the entire modified installation out of the way and create a fresh, clean one, because some mods leave files lying around outside the expected mod locations, which the game has no way of knowing about. However, if that's a problem then you could first try just disabling all mods and starting a fresh game. If that doesn't show up as modified in the menus then there's a reasonable chance that your installation is otherwise clean.

all good since i still the mod zips still lying around i'll just remove them and grab a clean install to double make sure i'd rather be safe and figure out the issue, might take a bit longer but figuring it out will be good and maybe help others

Just a thought... How "new" is new?
A week, six months?

The only reason I ask is I had a client with a "new" gaming computer with a similar crashing issue.
Turned out the CPU heatsink wasn't fitted correctly and was not contacting the surface properly.
