I have an Aux ship that is stuck in status "waiting for signal - 1hr". I am not able to remove the order or change its wait time, it immediately restores it. I can also not teleport to the ship and take it over -- the captain tells me he is busy right now. I have also removed it from all fleets, and save/reload.
Is there any way to force reset it? It seems like it is maybe blocked on some AI action it is waiting for that got canceled but the Aux ship didn't get put out of that locked mode.
Aux Stuck in Waiting For Signal - Resolved itself eventually.

We're not going to be able to help you unless you give us some information to work with. Please read the very first thread at the top of the forum, entitled "Technical Support Requests - Please read this before posting!", and provide the information requested there, including a savegame.

Re: Aux Stuck in Waiting For Signal
Sounds that your Aux is waiting arriving ship for repair/resupply.
Similar case happened to me when I first time upgraded X4 from 5.10hf3b to 7.00 and launched my long-term save.
In sectors where Aux ships were parked they got "stuck" like that and my ships in the sectors nearby arrived to queue for resupply/repair.
Try look in the sector or near sectors if there's any e.g. L-size ship which have repair-command and is travelling towards your Aux. When you find one, give that ship new command, move it to first in the list and then remove repair-command. After that Aux should be able to move again until next repair request comes.

Re: Aux Stuck in Waiting For Signal
I was noticing something similar this weekend, I will try to post a save game later this week when I've got some free time..
The behavior I noticed was
* Ship docks at AUX for repairs
* AUX needs wares before it can do repairs
* AUX adds "Wait for signal" command
* Trade ship docks at AUX with wares
* AUX cannot unload wares from the trade ship because "Wait for signal" never completes
* If the player tries to remove the "Wait for signal" it instantly returns
* The only way to resolve is to find the docked ship, and remove the dock and repair commands that it has
* This clears the "Wait for signal" on the AUX and the trade ship is able to unload
Does this match what you were seeing?

Re: Aux Stuck in Waiting For Signal
Sorry, I forgot to follow up here.
I am not exactly sure what caused it to get stuck thinking it was in some interaction. I removed it from its fleet and left it for a few hours. Eventually when I checked in on it it had gotten out of "wait for signal" and was in standard hold position default.
